I recently visited Dharamshala, drawn there by a deep spiritual pull — perhaps from Buddha himself.
When I returned, I felt called to visit my monk, mentor, and guide at the Trout Lake temple. It wasn’t planned — one Friday, I simply decided to go. I had brought small gifts from India as a gesture of love and gratitude.

After meditating there, the monk casually invited me to see the new temple that was set to open the following day. To my surprise, he asked if I would like to unwrap and clean the new Buddha statue before the opening. I felt honored and humbled. I accepted, and in that moment, something special happened.

It wasn’t me who cleaned Buddha — it felt as though Buddha cleansed me.
The experience was divine, peaceful, and deeply transformative.

A blessing I never expected, yet one I will always carry with me. It wasn’t coincidence; it was the universe aligning my steps before I even knew where I was going.
